Redpath Silatough 5 star contractor grade is an extra heavy duty thickness at 155 microns, and Silatough's special UV inhibitor package and its extra thickness makes this silage covering one of the longest life and most durable films available. You can choose the width that best suits your stacks needs. Redpath Silatough is manufactured using the latest co-extrusion technology which gives a permanently bonded three layer plastic film for superior strength and resistance to pin-holing. The "Three layer co-extruded film" technology gives you superior air tight performance over older styles mono-layer films. Silatough is supplied in 12m and 16m width rolls.
Redpath contractor grade film is black on one side (faces to the inside) helping to block light getting through to the silage, reducing fermentation and fungal growths. The bright white side faces up and its reflective white colour gives improved protection from the suns energy and reduces heat build-up within the stack. - Our customers tell us that the black/white colour offer superior silage consistency and quality. The extra thick contractor grade is 155 microns tough!
