Durashelter clear super long-life / heavy duty greenhouse film
Redpath’s family of greenhouse designs use Duratough and Durashelter clear greenhouse films. Redpath also supply the special heavy duty 254 micron Durashelter film to growers wishing to build or re-cover their existing designs. Redpath Durashelter extra thickness at 254 microns means superior service life and strength over any "standard film" in the market. Durashelter is very popular for use on dairy shelter buildings where long life & high strength is paramount.
Redpath Durashelter is the heaviest / thickest greenhouse film available, and many growers now realise that the labour to replace the greenhouse covering costs more than the covering itself! - and this fact alone justifies the use of a super heavy duty long life greenhouse film, so as to spread the replacement labour cost apart as far as possible.
Durashelter still has high in light transmission (over 90%) for superior crop production, it is also anti- condensation treated on one side which is faced toward the crop. The anti condensation feature helps prevent condensation droplets from forming on the inside surface and dropping onto the plant crop.
Durashelter is available in four different widths 4.4m, 9m, 10.7m, and 12.7. All of these widths may be purchased on a 'cut to length basis”, so customers need only order the lengths they require to fit their buildings.
Redpath Durashelter is used on a large range of commercial structures made by different manufacturers, it has a typical service life of 7-10 years and Redpath supply a 5 year pre-rata UV warranty for the film.
