Internal & end shadescreen option
Overhead & End gable shadecloth option
An overhead or end gable shadescreen system can be quite beneficial for farmers wishing to use their Redpath clear roofed shelter during the summer season. A shadescreen will offer protection for the herd from direct sun that comes through the clear Durashelter roof cladding.
Redpath offer two types of overhead shadescreening, the cooler white knitted long-life shade that not only shades but also reflects excessive heat away from the cows below. This special white coloured shadecloth is offered at no extra cost by Redpath, and should be strongly considered if the shelter is to be used extensively during warmer conditions.
The more traditional green coloured long-life knitted shadescreen is still a popular standard choice also.
Breathable "gable ends" are also a good option to consider for the Standoffshelter (especially for longer length shelters - where promoting air movement and flow throughout the shelter is preferred). Knitted shadecloth placed in one or both or both gable-ends of the building will allow any warm air that may be trapped within the roofline of the shelter to escape out at a high level above the stock before it is allowed to warm the lower level of the shelter where the stock is standing. Gable end shade venting is a very cost effective option on Redpath buildings, and is offered at a similar cost to the standard clear Durashelter gable-end cladding.
Different colours of gable-end cladding may be requested. (green & white)
